Skype Video para Mac en Abril / Skype Video for Mac in April

Saludos a todos. Me voy a apartar un poco del tema de este blog para dar una noticia que puede ser de utilidad para la comunidad Mac, por lo que la traduciré también al inglés.

Skype, ese (en general) estupendo software de mensajería instantánea y llamadas de voz sobre IP, vio el lanzamiento de su versión 2 beta con video para Windows a principios de este año / finales del anterior. Por desgracia, los usuarios de Mac hemos tenido que esperar, teniendo que conformarnos con una pequeña actualización del programa pero sin funciones de videoconferencia. Pues bien, una fuente fiable de Skype (cuyo nombre no revelaré) que posee información sobre los planes de marketing de Skype me ha informado de que el mes de Abril está previsto el lanzamiento de la versión 2 de Skype para Mac. Por supuesto son previsiones, pero siendo un acontecimiento tan anticipado, parecía interesante comentarlo aquí.

Skype, that (generally) great IM and voice over IP software, saw the release of its 2.0 beta version at the beginning of the year / late the past year. Unfortunatley, we Mac users have been left waiting with only a minor update of the software without videoconferencing features. Now, a reliable Skype source (whose name I won't disclose) possessing information about Skype's marketing strategy has informed me that the release of Skype version 2 for Mac is scheduled for April, 2006. Of course that is an estimation, but this being such an anticipated event, it seemed interesting to post it here.
